Manufacturer Warranty Protection

As an authorized retailer, all products include the manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand and product—contact us at support@backyardatease.com with your order number for specific warranty details on your item.

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

Inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. Here's how to protect yourself and speed up resolution:

Step 1: Document at delivery

• Check outer packaging for visible damage (crushed boxes, tears, punctures)

• If damage is obvious, note "damaged packaging" on the delivery confirmation before signing

• If you cannot fully inspect contents at delivery but suspect issues, write "potential concealed damage" on the delivery receipt

• Take photos of damaged packaging and delivery confirmation

Step 2: Report damage within 48 hours

Email support@backyardatease.com with:

• Your order number

• Clear photos showing the damage (packaging + product)

• Brief description of the issue

Step 3: We resolve it fast

We'll review your claim within 1 business day and provide you with:

• Free replacement shipment (typically ships within 5 business days), OR

• Full refund to your original payment method (processed within 5-7 business days)

You choose which option works best for you.

What's Covered

Our damage protection includes:

• Physical damage during shipping (dents, scratches, broken components)

• Missing parts or hardware from the package

• Manufacturing defects discovered upon delivery

• Wrong item shipped

Important Requirements

To qualify for immediate replacement or refund:

• Report within 48 hours: Damage claims must be submitted within 2 days of delivery confirmation

• Provide photo evidence: Clear images showing both packaging and product damage are required

• Note damage at delivery when possible: While not always required, documenting issues on the delivery receipt strengthens your claim

• Keep all packaging: Retain boxes, foam, and materials until your claim is resolved (needed for carrier claims)

What's Not Covered

This damage protection does not apply to:

• Damage reported more than 48 hours after delivery

• Damage occurring after delivery or during customer assembly/installation

• Normal wear and tear, weathering, or damage from use

• Cosmetic imperfections that don't affect functionality (minor scratches, slight color variations)

• Buyer's remorse or preference changes (see our Return Policy)

Defects Discovered After Assembly

If you discover a manufacturing defect or functional issue after assembly/installation, contact the manufacturer directly using the warranty information included with your product. As an authorized retailer, we're happy to assist you in navigating the warranty claim process—just email us at support@backyardatease.com and we'll guide you through it.
