About Backyard At Ease

I started Backyard At Ease because I couldn't find a store that sold outdoor furniture the way I'd want to buy it myself — a place where family could gather without much fuss, where a quiet evening outside felt easy, and where the furniture and decor did their job without getting in the way of just being outside. Once I had a clear answer for my own yard, I figured a lot of other people were asking the same question and not finding it easy to answer either. That's how Backyard At Ease came to be, just over a year ago now.

We're a family-owned business, and our mission is simple: help you build a home and backyard that gives you real comfort — furniture and features you actually use, not just ones that look good in a photo.

That means patio furniture for weekend dinners, bio-ethanol fireplaces and fire features for cooler nights, and shading to keep things comfortable when the sun's out. Every piece we carry is picked to earn its place in your outdoor life.

As a retailer, we don't manufacture our own furniture, and we're upfront about that. Instead, we partner with established, trusted names in outdoor living — Anderson Teak, The Bio Flame, Panama Jack, Pelican Reef, and others — so that what lands in your backyard is backed by real craftsmanship and a track record we believe in ourselves. We do the work of finding good products; you get to enjoy using them.

We're a small team, still learning and growing, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can promise is honesty about the products we sell, straightforward answers when you reach out to us, and a genuine interest in helping you get your backyard right. At the end of the day, we're building this business around the same goal you have: a home and backyard that's easy to enjoy.
